We are excited to uncover that Balmain (absolute favorite designer) recently announced plans to launch a new, younger clothing line.

Less than a month since announcing the appointment of Olivier Rousteing as Balmain’s new creative director – replacing Christophe Decarnin – the brand has revealed that a new diffusion collection will be launched in September.

Named ‘Pierre Balmain’ – in honour of the label’s founder, who started the fashion house in 1945 – according to fashion.telegraph, a spokesperson confirmed that the new line “will be younger and designed by a new team.”

This line will cater to both men and women and has been set at “accessible price ranges.”

We hope to see the classic Balmain shoulder pads and sequins in some of this teenage wear! We can hardly wait. Teens better get with it!
