It was a spring 2012 coloring book on the Tommy Hilfiger runway show. There were plenty of bold purples, reds and oranges which showcased some of the hottest trends to look for next season.

Inspiration: The catchall name of this collection, Modern Prep. It’s no surprise as Tommy loves to showcase a preppy and colorful men’s clothing line each season.

Colors/Trends: Bright tones–purple, red, orange, pink. Denim on Denim, Preppy Letterman jackets and casual man bags.

Spaz Stars: 3.5-–I love the bold colored pants on men right now…so two thumbs up for that! I think the reason I rated this collection 3.5 out of 5 stars is because there wasn’t really a wow factor that caught my eye in this collection. I want to see Tommy take more risks with his menswear clothing. Would have liked to see more springy attire–shorts/vests/tanks and fun men’s accessories.

    So two thumbs up for that! I think the reason I rated this collection 3.5 out of 5 stars is because there wasn’t really a wow factor that caught my eye in this collection.
